Well, as CNY is not actually a private program, it could be said that it's in the wrong place. Maybe if our moderators see this then they might want to move it over to General forum, but 'what the heck !' does it really matter ?

To answer your question Ernie, I did DD on this program when it was quite new and the Admin was quite forthcoming with information. That attitude (and the program structure) has changed a bit and they now look for a little more privacy themselves.

The initial aim of the program was to draw investors into a property pool, where CNY would take the pooled funds, purchase and renovate property in Syracuse NY, and then rent or resell the properties, and finally, pay profits to the investors.
They no longer ask for direct investment into a property pool. However, as far as I am aware, all the funds that they now take in for the various hyips actually serve the same purpose, and that is how the profit is generated.

I like it - The slogan is "Sleep well, we'll be here in the morning" - and they have paid without fail. It's one of my investments that I don't get stressed about even though I have over $1k with them. :thumbsup:

I also see, further to my post above, that CNY is now advertising to hire a Forex/Futures trader. Some sign, at least, that they are working with the investments.

I never invested with this one. I just can't see how %2 daily is attainable with New York real estate.

So they do not trade real estate anymore? They use HYIPs?

I have been into this one for months, and always got paid on time...but I stopped a month ago....

It's not unusual to wait 24 hours... there is a (red) button on the home page to click if they have not acknowledged your deposit after that time.

Please be aware that you need to make a $50 deposit within 14 days to be able to withdraw the full profit from the bonus $50 .

Their initial response to me was nothing - and I waited over a week. I was asking about possible funding from e-bullion. Then I read in the fine print that they wouldn't bother replying to questions which are already answered in the FAQ. Fair enough. I was hoping for a special service, I guess. Like Offshoreclub gave me. However, I scraped together a bit of e-gold and they have been looking after me fine ever since. About 3 days to reply to the only other e-mail I sent them. Don't remember if it was over a weekend. I'm satisfied.

Jim the Admin really does not seem to like answering e-mails, and he can get a little upset when members just seem to ignore the rules and procedures written in the website.
Apart from that the handling of my account has been fine. :beer:

only program that lasted for me since june if im not mistaken last year.
Joke maybe some would say. For me has been working nice and never ever as till today has failed paying.
After the disaster december cny improved there website were other program shutted down.
I like the fact that they do not pay out any referral comission whatsoever. I think this is one part that kept them away from the ruins.

Another is that they have no fancy website with a lot of nice grafics. Its simple and if i do not mistake dont cost them so much in fees for to have it up and running.

We all know that sooner or later most program fade away.
Lets hope this one is here for the long run, even if its not smashing forex trading or other fancy stuff........

I made my deposit but its still not showing. Does it take as long as the password to verify????

If you don't see confirmation in a reasonable time - say, by tomorrow evening which will be 48 hours (?), then go to the website and find the little entry on the home page that says "If you have made a deposit recently and it has not been acknowleged you may need to contact us... should have continued with this one.....was in since August 2005, and stopped at the end of the year thinking they were too old to sustain such rates longer...I was wrong....I did the same with OC, was in since April past year, and stopped too after 8 months :cry: congrats....

Profit deposited to my account but I can't WD until the 5th because my account is not "verified". I like their new site.

My VIP account was paid out yesterday direct to e-currency. My "Free Money" account in Program 2 isn't updated yet, but that is not scheduled to happen until sometime Monday (EST)

Been paid on program 1 and VIP every week! This is possibly my best investment up to date (as far as hi % is concerned).

My VIP account has not been paid. It is now 54 days. I've sent some emails but they're not responding.

The VIP plan has stopped. Those who are not in profit will be refunded.
Other programs will continue.

Dear CNY Members,

I would like to first thank you for your trust in my program. Unfortunately, some issues have come up causing this program to become unstable (explained below).

I apologize for the sudden closure of the VIP program, however, you will be refunded in a manner that reflects the amount of funds you have loaned, amount you have been paid, and amount due you.

I have at all times tried to maintain a professional attitude and treat all members respectfully as long as the same was done to me. The behavior of some more vocal and less than professional people in the forums has caused the program to receive a bad reputation and I find it unlikely that we can return from such reputation. I have read forums and emails and answered questions to the best of my ability and in most cases in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there are some who put their last pennies into programs and then get upset when things don’t work out. Planning ahead is great. Feeling guaranteed of a future with any program including mine is a mistake and the smart and well thought out investor knows this.

I am closing the VIP program for the following reasons (refund information below):

1. The rise and quicker than expected growth of Cmoney has caused a significant decrease in the amount of time for the administration of this program;

2. The amount of unnecessary worry placed on our members through forum posts from those who are impatient or are not even a part of our program in many cases is not worth the headache for me (or you) to try to explain everything I do with the program and the reasons behind it;

3. Certain uncontrollable events such as the sudden deletion of our cnyinvestments domain (thanks so much to the troublemakers out there with no life), the paypal block and retention of funds of the Cmoney program (I was borrowing funds from CNY Investments to pay deposits to the Cmoney program expecting to be able to retrieve these funds from PayPal), however, I am unable to retreieve more than $30 000 from them until October now;

4. In an effort to stop the complaints of the withdrawal hold on the new website, I turned it off. This has caused the not so honest to take advantage of the reason the 5 day hold was in place in the first place. Depositing funds and immediately withdrawing. It was not realized that this was happening until this morning when I noticed a large deposit, large withdrawal from the same account and no money in the e-gold. Someone got around the system of actually having to deposit money. How, I don’t know but it has caused the program to lose money because after a little research, more than one person had done this so some people have effectively received more e-gold then they were supposed to;

5. (see #3) - the lack of information from myself regarding what to do/not do to sign up at the new website, or the lack of the members to follow their programs and do what’s needed to accommodate changes and most importantly READ new instructions;

6. The fact that some of our program funds are held up in other programs, such as GR. This was not a problem to start, the problem is, $20,000 held up by GR, $30,000 held by PayPal and an additional $26,000 that has been paid out through Cmoney on expected PayPal funds creates quite a loss and a slight backlog of funds needed to continue to pay the VIP Program at 50% above principal. As many know I was unable to achieve 50% completely offline and it was no secret that I used some of the funds in other programs to achieve this payout rate as it was posted on the old website.

7. The fact that I know some people are making a living off our program just from talking to them and I do not want to have that much responsibility placed on me as I have my own family to support and as much as I would love to be able to guarantee a living to someone else, I can’t. It would be a lie if I did place such guarantee and accept that responsibility.

How refunds will be facilitated (How NOT to receive a refund below)

1. All VIP payments will be halted immediately. All other programs will function as planned. Christmas Club accounts will remain active throughout the term.

2. Full refunds will be issued to each member of VIP (over time) who is not in profit (less funds already received). (this process is going to be quite gradual). Refunds will happen slowly in the beginning and become more expeditious as funds come in later.

3. If you were in the offline program, Program 3, you are not affected and will continue to receive payments.

4. Each account/amount must be fully audited before it is refunded. This does not mean one mass refund, this means as each account is researched for payment and funds received then you will receive your refund immediately following the closure of your account.

Who will receive refunds:

1. Those NOT in profit and have not been paid anything yet will receive a full refund;
2. Those who are in profit but have active loans outstanding - a payment of 10% of all collective investments over the course of the program, or, the difference in payment and principal (whichever is the greater of the two.)
3. Those who have expressed their financial situation/dependence on the program to me previously will be refunded first and expeditiously.

In other words, everyone will receive something based on what you currently have in the program and what you’ve been paid. No One will be left out.

While I will try to make this happen as quickly as possible, it will not happen overnight. This is going to be a process that requires a little patience on your part and surely some diligence on mine.

How NOT to receive a refund:

This is probably the most important part to read (and read again if you must);

I must say first, I have not kept anyone’s money to date and have no intent on doing so, so if you can’t be patient and decent in your communications, I will remove you from the list of pending refunds with no further contact because I will not be treated badly simply because I have made this decision to close the VIP program. I could have just closed up shop and left town, but, I wouldn‘t do that because one, it‘s the most dishonest thing a person could do, and two, I‘ve had it done to me and know exactly how it feels;

1. Threats, name calling, negative posts, or untrue information posted in the forums (speculations, etc….);
2. Phone calls outside of business hours; (ONLY calls from VIP’s will continue to be accepted and only phone calls to discuss how much you will be refunded)
3. Emails that do not pertain to specific account information (such as why, can we make a deal, why haven‘t I got my refund yet - YOU WILL (or similar items))

All of the above will cause you to lose your refund.

I will continue to communicate with members who wish to discuss professionally and decently in their communications matters pertaining to payments (such as discrepancies, etc….) until all refunds have been made.

With that said, thank you for being a part of my program. While this is disappointing to everyone including me, know that as you are refunded and search elsewhere for opportunities, I wish each of you the best of luck.

My plan was to earn money in Program 1 enough to join VIP.
It is not possible now. Cest la vie.
I will continue investing in Program 1.
IMO return of 10% per week from such long term project looks very good.
