Any news about their recent trading performance?
I just realized they only do payouts via BlueBanking (and it costs $40 just to have it shipped to you!). I'm not a fan of debit cards as their charges are too high for my taste. Is there a chance, do you think, they'd consider making payments by e-gold since they accept e-gold for deposits, after all?
Thanks...

hi
i just read the FAQ in the sgfh site.
it states that withdrawls can be paid via blue banking, or to a e-gold account.
take a look.
regards.
helen.
Gintoh
Thanks, helen. I'll read the FAQ again...
damien_k
There is the possibility to wd by D-Carat too for both UI & SGFH, and you can exchange easily from D-Carat to e-gold by UdachuGold with a 2.5% fee only.

I thought it was $ 10 for the Blue card and $ 50 for the Gold card. Where did you get $ 40 from? There are advantages to the Gold card such as 1% e-gold purchases, instant loading, telephone support, etc.

I must have gotten it from the BB website. At any rate, it seems e-gold withdrawals are allowed after all.
The reason I don't like debit cards is that I have to incur further currency exchange costs as I live outside of the US.

Allyco,
Please register with your SGFH username and the email address you are using for SFGH.It will take some time before access will be granted to the forum.
You can't log in into your account because they are increasing security in all Udachu's websites.
Sites will be back soon.
Please do not use the same password for 2 different accounts.Never ever!
Allyco
Thanks Cyrano.
Point taken about same password.

If a site is going to be off-line, why don't they email their members and let them know?

Exactly my sentiment, too. Could they have not informed us given that they have our e-mail addresses? That's what a professional site would do.
What do you mean about posting in the wrong forum, cyrano? I see discussions of SGFH in other forums also, so why not here?

I think he meant the Udachu forum....informations about it are available over there

You may post your questions wherever you want.If i would like to receive fast and first hand information about SGFH,i would visit their forum first and ask there.

Thay have stated a few days ago that they would be modifying (upgrading) their servers for increased security, so maybe they have their hands full, or maybe not everything is up and running yet.. but that is if you registered very recently..

IMPORTANT* - Silver Gate TRANSITION.
Dear Silver Gate Investor,
We wish to take this moment to thank you, and recognize your participation in our successful family of investment funds. It has been a good year, and the future looks even brighter as Silver Gate grows stronger, more profitable, and ventures into many other new and exciting projects.
That being said, there are domestic forces hard at work that would rather not see Silver Gate succeed. They may feel threatened that people like you will put your trust with us, rather than leave your deposits in the bank. There is a growing threat to stamp out organizations that offer anything above bank rates to residents, under the disguise of protecting you as an "unsophisticated investor".
Silver Gate wishes to take a proactive approach to become compliant with regulations both internationally, and ones that effect you where you live. We have simply worked to hard, and have come to far to have everything that we have built, torn down. To this purpose, (effective immediately), Silver Gate will only accept 'foreign business clients', meaning an IBC or Foundation corporate entity outside of your country. All current investors will be given two choices:
A) to be paid out before the end of 2006; or
B) to become a corporate business member.
By default your balance shall be paid to your original e-gold, e-bullion, d-carat, or in the case of no reply to a holding account, no later than December 1st, 2006.
For those who choose option B, and wish to stay with us, we offer two solutions.
1) We have arranged for your convenience, a smooth and simple conversion process. You may agree to the terms of two particular documents. One ends your personal investor position with a separation of funds from our programs, while the other notionally capitalizes your business membership through a loan agreement to a cell company. Silver Gate will pay the expenses for a firm to complete the incorporation of many offshore cell companies, each will hold up to a couple hundred member positions. Your first year will be paid up, however a $12 cost will be deducted from your fund's account, on hand to cover corporate maintenance fees in the second and future years, beginning 12 months later.
2) For the investor who wants their own IBC or tax compliant Foundation legal structure, you may purchase a high quality package, from our new web site: www.Silver Gateoffshore.com. Our team has partnered with the best in the business to provide this service for us, our partners, and all of our members. We realize that many serious investors are already setup and properly structured offshore, and for those members, it is also perfectly fine to invest with us through your already existing offshore entity. Members who are planning on purchasing their own IBC or Foundation package (which we strongly urge), will be either refunded or structured into a cell company mentioned above until they have their entity setup. At this time, they can move their investments under the umbrella of their offshore structure.
In summary, in order for our longevity and continued service to Silver Gate clients to continue, it has become required to either upgrade you from an individual to a corporate position, or refund your balance. We strongly urge our investors to become properly structured offshore to be able to conduct business in an international market on their own, however for those who may not need this service yet, or if it may not be feasible for you at this time, option #1 will protect you, but with our investments only. Online instructions are included on the following page for you to follow if you already have an existing IBC now, or wish to upgrade with us to a cell company, or if you wish to withdraw your funds.
We realize that this may not be an easy decision for some, which is why we have brought a few options to the table here, and why we have also put together a service to help assist our members through this transition. Our goal is to make this quick and easy, and as painless as possible for our members. We feel obliged to help our members through this, based on our decision to re-structure, and not to "leave our clients in the dark", or on your own to deal with this. Our primary concern is the longevity and protection of our programs and our clients.
Best wishes for a prosperous future,
Silver Gate team.
Need to think about the options.

Allyco, were you able to get on the Silver Gateoffshore.com website. Is there something missing between the two words? What is their new website. I am an investor and would like to have access. Thanks for your help.

I cannot log on to Silver Gateoffshore.com either but unless you are choosing option B solution 2 I do not believe you need to.
Log on here https://www.sgf-hedging.com/index.php where you have 3 options, BTW I have chosen option option B solution 1. I was informed after making my option just a few hours ago they will be in contact with me. I await for the next step.
Hope this helps

I get an error message for both SGF and UI websites, when I select the option B (to continue with the corporate cell structure). I have submitted tickets, copying the customer service the exact error messages).
Let us see what happens.

Well this has once again turned me off of all things Udachu and I have cancelled my account.
It will mean, by Dec 1st, that they've had hold of my cash for 2 months and no profit.
I do understand what they are doing and the very good reasons why they are doing it. If they can manage to get completely legal, I will consider joining again, however in the meantime I prefer my cash in my hand. :(
Gintoh
I'm out as well and I've submitted the form.
For clarification, do we only get back our original deposit (with no earnings--not even the 3% profit from last month) if we chose that option?
damien_k
from what I know you will get your last balance, your deposit + last month 2%
Gintoh
from what I know you will get your last balance, your deposit + last month 2%
Thanks, damien. That's better, I guess, than having nothing to show for the 90 days they held your funds.
Gintoh
Did you get the latest e-mail? It says the returns for Oct. was 11%. Will we get that, too?
I'm a little confused because it used the word "refund" in connection with those who have decided to opt out.
Allyco
According to the forum refunds will start in December & no interest will be awarded for November or December therefore you should get October's 11%.
peterg
Is there any news from Silver Gate ?
Has anyone who 'opted out' been paid the refund?
Anyone still in, who is being paid profit?
My account remains "Pending Refund" and December is rapidly drawing to a close.
A refund would be a nice Xmas present..... :)
damien_k
I'm in both SGFH & UI and opted for a refund....Still waiting
Gintoh
Am waiting for my SGFH refund, too. Didn't they say we could all expect it by the end of December? Let's hope they keep their word...
animalsun
I think all refund will complete the end of December of next year.
Because cell company hasn't set up nothing.
They said they will make refund after all conversion has finished.
When all conversion will finish?
No one won't know when the day comes.

Next is until end of Feb...and next is the end of 31th-Dec. 2007.maybe.
What a ridiculous ponzi scheme.
peterg
I have to agree with mbongwe.
Udachu group have never been in my list of favourite programs, and now I've been 'done' twice - the first time when I paid for and did not receive Blue Banking debit Card for UdachuInvest, and now the second time by SGFH.
gaby
Ok, everybody opting for refund should visit the udachu forums. refunds are starting on sgfh and ui, and there are specific rules to follow.

I have sent my information as requested & await the refund. Let's see how long it takes.

hi all:
Please help...
I requested a withdrawal of funds from SGFH when instructed months ago. the request is still pending.
But now is appears in order to complete that withdrawal request, i must visit the udachu forums and 'follow some specific instructions'
Well, I have never visited or registered for the udachu forums.
so, can some kind soul give me some help with accessing the udachu forums? for example, the URL address for the udachu forums; and how to register.
you help is much appreciated.

gaby, thanks for the udachu forum link. but...
a) i do not think i ever registered for the udachu forum;
b) now when i try to register, i get a notice that the admin has disabled the registration process;
c) so, if i want to confirm my withdrawal from silvergate and need to follow specific instructions contained in the forum, how can i follow the instructions if i can not register for the forum to see the withdrawal instructions for silvergate.
d) currently my silvergate account says my withdrawal request is pending. but now i seem to have to do something extra and this extra information is contained in the udachu forum. but i can not register.
please help. thanks all.
gaby
Check your PM splashy.
peterg
Raise a support ticket at SGF-H home page, splashy, and ask the support staff "What is the procedure for processing refund."
They explained it very well for me - I didn't need to go to the forum.(I wasn't registered for the forum either. On top of that, I'd lost my SGFH password when I crashed my flash drive last week...)
They were actually very fast and very helpful. Surprised me.
Good Luck
Peter

I have sent my information as requested & await the refund. Let's see how long it takes.
Refund received in my e-gold account minus the 5% fee of course in less than 24 hours.
Forgot to mention this is first stage, second stage to the refund will be the interest due. I can only assume it will be the 11% from October.
Gintoh
Thanks for the info, guys. I'll do as peterg says and will report back later.
peterg
My refund has been processed - it was in my e-gold this morning, less than 24 hours after submission.

refund in my e-gold yesterday evening.
within hours of submitting required details.

ditto:
received my refund, minus the 5% egold processing fee.
but am happy for the refund.
thanks to gaby and others for helping me with providing the necessary details to finalise the withdrawal.
:)
gaby
For all refunders, in my understanding this is only the principal refund, so expect (if applicable in your case) a second refund of the profits after all principal refunds have been executed.
no problem splashy :), its always nice to see people not lose money
[edit] oups, allyco has already stated that :o
Gintoh
Gaby, do you mind sending me the withdrawal instructions by PM also?
I sent a support ticket but I have not received a reply yet. I could not even get the SGFH site now. The Internet connection is super-slow in these parts these days such that I can't access a number of sites, including e-gold.
Thanks a lot!
Gintoh
I got to say thank you to gaby, peterg and damien for their PMs.

I am not refunded, neither by SGFH nor by UI.

bookland2007 and cican2
Did you opt for a refund when SGFH requested that you make a choice ?
And have you applied for the refund as instructed on the forum ?
Please don't complain if you have missed either of these important steps - Contact the Admin.
Everyone else who 'opted out' and made a proper claim has been paid.
gaby
No peterg, not yet.
Indeed they should follow the instructions, but refunding for both SGFH and UI has not been completed yet.
peterg
Thanks, gaby. I stand corrected, I thought SGFH had completed withdrawals. My bad....
gaby
Only UF (Udachu Fund) has been completely dealt with, which means that both refunds and conversion have been completed.

time for anyone still in the SGFH or Udacha Funds to check the Udacha Forum ...

For these who have no access, I'll say in short. The programs are closing and promissing refunds. (Since I always knew they were scam, I would not hold my breath for refunds)

The programs are closing and promissing refunds.
Is it including Udachu Fund or SGFH and UI only?

All three as well as D-carat.

I think but am not positive though that Udachu Fund will continue.
