I moved over to online banking a few years ago, It was much more convenient to be able to pay bills and money manage after normal banking hours.. if i remember correctly the banks were only open 9am to 4pm back then.. i was at work from 6am to 5pm..

The other benefit to online banking is the interest rate from an online account is way higher than an over the counter bank account...

my online account pays me just over 7%pa calculated daily and paid to my account monthly... over the counter account pays 0.01% according to my latest statement... i only have that account for my pay to be deposited to, once its there i move it to the online account..
