and got about 100 emails per day...
no time to read them all...so I just read some to get some points to able to send my ads to all members and delete the rest. I think people also do the same.. I ever track how many clicks I get to my donkeymails PTP and only got less than 50 hits.. :p I sent it to 15.000+ members..


How many safelists do you join ?

Well, what you do is what you get... lol. If you read all of them, the readers would hopefully read your mails too. So far i never tried a proper safelist. I had been a member in a traffic exchange site years ago. I think it`s adlandpro. I still have some 5000 mails sitting in my inbox from them.

Adlandpro.com traffic exchange ? they have email to member features, too ?
5000 mails and you still keep them ?
I always keep my spam folder to have less than 1000 mails.

in mail I sent I usually only write " just a click, thanks "

They serve a purpose but I think most people are so used to getting those emails that they never read them so they end up as spam. It used to be good but I think it is a method that has been done to death.

only if the email come give cents the recipient will sure want to click...

I think email ads in PTC programs will work better than safelist.

@Doommister, Ya. It was adlandpro.com. I have cleared all the spam e-mails yesterday. Leave alone the spam e-mails, my inbox itself had accumulated over 3000 e-mails. Most of them are from senders that i suspect i have never had any contact with. All they do is overload you with offers and links that you would be least interested in. And the biggest problem is the impossibility to add filter to 100s or even 1000s of names.

You should first understand that you cannot make money directly using these sites. What these sites do is... they make you visit a lot of websites of their members and for every website you visited, you get 1 free visit to your own website or blob. So, If you had a link of your website or blog in the traffic exchange site and had enough credits as well, then, you are guaranteed so many visitors to your website or blog in which you might add some advertisements or google adsense or bidvertiser widgets.

Yes, i also think safelist not work, even its purpose is good. If we don't mind to read others' emails, how we can expect they will read ours. So, besides safelist, could any one recommend other effective methods?

I use 20 safelist per day because 80 percent of ads sent will be deleted without ever being seen.

I have never used safelists till date for my promotional prospect. It may be true that the they are not as effective as other online marketing ideas. But many people are using them for promotional point of view. I may not have the adequate information about how to use them effectively.

I get really good clicks from viralnugget, wonderlist and a few others but they are basically useless if you are trying to convert people into buyers because of the way they are set up. You will find nobody will view your website for then entire timer as they are loading up their firefox browsers with up to 50 websites at once and then when the timer runs down on the last one they just click them off rapidly in succession.

So they will only get a fleeting glance at your website at best.

Using safe lists to earn referrals or site promotion needs extensive effort at your part to deal with. Daily you have to delete massive inbox mails to keep your email box clean. So if you are interested to work with safe lists than better concentrate with one or two good ones.
