Exchanging e-currency between virtual strangers (even forum members) is always fraught with problems not least of which is who pays first and will the other person honour their commitment. The way around this problem is to use an intermediary that both parties can trust. Thus this “E-currency Exchange Service” has been launched.

To start with, the service it is limited to exchanges between E-Gold and Liberty Reserve. Although other payment processors will be added if asked for, except PayPal, Moneybookers, wire, bank transfers, cheques, money orders and postal orders.

E-Bullion is going to be tricky because of their end of month charges. An exchange done to E-Bullion at the wrong time could mean that the money sent to the E-Bullion account could be reduced by that monthly fee before I have time to send it to where it is supposed to go.

There is a $25 minimum.

All exchanges are dollar for dollar.

There will be a 2% charge per currency.

How It Works

When someone wants to exchange some e-currency for a different type, that person should start a new thread in this folder and wait for a response. When someone is interested in making an exchange that person should respond in that thread.

Once two people have agreed to exchange e-currency, both parties send the money to the appropriate accounts above and post in the thread to confirm, with transaction numbers, that their monies have been sent. At the same time PM me with the number and name of the account where you want the money sent to.

Upon receipt of both currencies they will be passed on to each party as quickly as possible. Please bear in mind that we do sleep and both currencies could arrive whilst we are slumbering.

If one currency is not paid within 48 hours of the first being paid the deal is null and void. The charges will be waived and the money returned less any payment processor charges incurred.

Once both parties have received their e-currency, as a courtesy to everyone, they are asked to post in the thread to confirm that the deal has gone through OK.

Hint – If you need a specific amount to make a deposit into an HYIP etc. then add 3% (to the nearest whole dollar) to your total to take care of any charges that will be incurred. Thus if you need $25 then you need to exchange $26.
