I think you're right but still yet extra vigilance is needed when investing.Moreso one should avoid greed and above all invest into HYIP what you can afford to lose.

@ the post initiator, Hyip simply mean high yield investment programs, they are programs you invest in an generate high returns but one has to be careful with them as most of them are scam even if they are not, they will later become one.

Scams don't pay or they can pay for a while and stop do it (remaining in the profit)?

Eventhough a minority of people investing in HYIP lose their money, that does not mean you should scare any newcommer . There is always a risk of accident while driving but taking simple precautions can save ones life. It is the same with HYIP. Do you homework well before giving someone your money.

@Kimikazi! This to me is an excellent comment. hyips are not to be jumped into like some of us did and learnt our lessons the hard way. Nevertheless, you don't run away because of disappointments 'cos so many are really making money on a daily basis in these programs for years now.

Personally, I was going to opt out after a while but the encouragements and attitude of the experienced ones in this forum kept me in. Now I understand quite well it all depends on the strategy you use, amongst other things which you can say in a single post.

i gave up on hyip sites quite a few months ago.

i think hyip world used to be way more stable compared to now.

basically, hyip sites are illegal business schemes from where you may or may not make money.

I can understand you pretty well. That particular time, few months ago, there were too many disasters such that I, relatively newbie in the business, often hear the experienced ones making the same comments. But mind you, some of these have been in the game for close to a decade now and are still in, never thinking of giving up, because they keep learning and have known how to play smart, thereby reducing the losses, if any. Besides, more importantly, some are still earning on a daily basis, and are very much satisfied.

It takes a lot of patience and perseverance to make it in hyip, but there are few simple laid-down rules that if you don't break them, you could remain comfortable: e.g. adequate homework b4 investing, diversification and investing not more than you can afford to lose.

@threadOwner i'll advice you to do some research on google. I used to be a newbie like you but after much research within some few days, my knowledge on HYIP has greatly improved.

Interesting, the thread starter is still a newbie but you are not? Congratulations on your acquirement of knowledge, which has made you very powerful. But welcome to reality, google cannot reveal to you 1% of what you will get here in Golden Talk, because there you see theories, here you learn practicals as you invest and explore the comments. Good luck to you.
