Default Windows System Protector Virus

Hi guys, thought this info would be useful. A new malware or virus named Windows Simple Protector gets auto installed in the system. It shows some fake scan results and forces you to purchase the application. When this program is running, all other programs are closed and nothing can be accessed. I encountered this problem yesterday and ran system restore and got the issue fixed. This link will provide the information. http://www.pc1news.com/news/1674/wi...-protector.html
This link http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-rem...imple-protector has the removal methods but I found none in my registry after running system restore.

I have faced the same situation. So i bought a licence copy of quick heal total security and that was resolved by this. If you don't want to face these kind of problems you should also go for quick heal total security. It gives best protection.
