Not in for a quick buck, I am in for a steady one. I like programs that have established themselves and offer realistic rates. THat would mean that they are long term by definition.

Honestly, I'm becoming leery of "long-term" progs. It seems to me that, unless they have a solid track record like FF, we end up losing our money eventually--the only difference is that it's a long drawn-out, rather than a quick, process.
The other thing I notice is that very few programs pay directly to e-gold anymore, so that makes for added risk. |

Long or short term it doesnt matter coolcats.
What really matters is - will the site last long enough to at least recover my deposit? So the first thing that I look at is how long will it take to recover my deposit. It is a simple calculation by dividing the daily interest rate into 100. After that it is all just a guess based on whatever information I can find out about the site as to whether I think the site will last or not. I also consider if the site pays out daily automatically or withdrawals can be done daily. If that is the case then that helps to cut the losses if the site goes down before I get my deposit back. |

Hi CoolCats,
I voted longterm, but to me it is the mixture of your portfolio that matters after having made your DD. Create a strong basis of longterm progs and take a few short and mid term progs to complete your monthly investment.

I would say that I have a mix of both - it depends on the program and its possible return to me
I aim to get back my principal ASAP |

I injoy quicker returns, the sooner I have my money the better..
However their is a limit to fast returns.. Some Ponzis offer way to high returns that are just unstable.. Stabilaty is one of the most inportant things in HYIP.. But when it comes to ponzis, ill take 60% daily over 10% daily.
