Don't download or install suspicious software. Always keep your operating system updated. You can use active fireware. Then, have a working antivirus and always scan your pc regularly.

I will list at least 5 good ways by which one can keep away from keyloggers:
1. As much as possible, avoid using public or cybercafe computers
2. As much as possible, avoid using even other people's private computer's. If you have to, then use the computer of only people that you really trust
3. If you have to buy a used computer, scan it thoroghly or even format it it before you start using it
4. If you have to get an engineer to repair your computer, let the engineer do so right under your watch. Don't leave your computer in the shop or office of the engineer
5. If someone else have to use your computer. Let the person use the Guest compartment; not the Administrator. That way, the person cannot install anything on your computer since he/she does not have administrator password

It's Simple....Don't download suspicious software and keep your OS updated,Or at least don't run suspicious software as administrator and don't disable the UAC.
