I have been in KaOnline for a while now and I am enjoying the IDF fund weekly payouts every Friday.Anywhere between 8-11% each week in this fund usually.I think this is one of the best in my portfolio.

I asked that same question to Ben at kaonline and he informed me that because the deposit for new investment in CPW fund has to be received prior to wednesday (when the actual payout is done) there isn't a way to re-invest without missing one week. Here's our conversation of that issue: Me (12:32:25 pm) : let's say i make a new investment today; it'll be paid next wed july 12th with full 7 days interest (5%) Me (12:32:41 pm) : but what about my fund that's due tomorrow? Me (12:32:48 pm) : also want to reinvest that Me (12:33:02 pm) : and make the 7 days interest also Me (12:33:14 pm) : how can i do it? Benjamin Navarro (12:34:26 pm) : The fund that is due tomorrow would have to wait till next Tuesdsay to be re-invested. The fund is set up this way for a reason, as funds need to be moved in and out of "play" and seeing as we pull money out on Tuesdays, if we allowed compounded we would stall the entire system Benjamin Navarro (12:36:31 pm) : compounded = compounding Me (12:36:55 pm) : ok so in essence if every CPW investment has to be in by 11:59 GMT tuesday evening, and pending CPW funds are paid until wednesday; then I'll always have to wait until next week to re-invest ? And/or invest on wed and receive 6/7 days interest and have my principal remain in the fund until the next week for 1/7 interest payout? A I correct so far ? Benjamin Navarro (12:37:21 pm) : That is correct. Benjamin Navarro (12:37:44 pm) : I know it seems odd, but if it were structured any other way it simply wouldn't work. Me (12:39:31 pm) : Ok. The fact is I wasn't interested in automatic compounding per say. I was just trying to figure out a way not to have my principal in the fund without earning full 7 days interest Benjamin Navarro (12:40:06 pm) : I understand, but because of the way the fund is managed it really isn't possible at this point. Me (12:41:30 pm) : what would you recommend to do ? Would investing on a different day make any difference? Benjamin Navarro (12:44:13 pm) : Well, if you make an investment into the CPW Fund on any day besides Tuesday you will be waiting 2 weeks for your principal, so you gain nothing by jumping the gun. If you are looking to have ready access to your principal it is really your only option at this point, however if you don't mind locking in your principal for 6 months to a year the IDF and AA Funds are good choices. Me (12:46:51 pm) : Alright Ben. I believe you answered all of my questions. If anything else comes to mind I'll let you know. Benjamin Navarro (12:47:09 pm) : Ok. Glad I could be of service. Hope this helped Arsen ![]() |
