Default Full-Time income from HYIP's?

I continue going in to work 9-5 as a systems analyst, feeling as if I'm simply spending 8 hours waiting to die every day. It has become such an aweful bore.

I've resolved myself to thinking that if I can just get a year's current salary in the bank, then I'm out of there and willing to take my chances on HYIP's and other online money-making opportunities being able to sustain my family.

I'm betting I'm better positioned to attempt that insanity than most, seeing as how my wife makes 3-times more than I do currently and she loves her job, so we have that to fall back on.

Tell me, am I crazy?! Has anyone managed to pull-off such a thing? In the grand scheme of things, one year's salary really isn't all that much, especially considering I would surely tap into some of that amount for reinvesting. Should I make the condition be two year's salary or three instead?

Scott,

I did what you're planning around 5 years ago. I quit my job as a claims adjustor and was "retired" for the better part of a year, living only off of HYIPs. It was an awesome experience being in total control of my daily time & activities. I slept late, went to the lake with my wife & little boy every couple of days and generally just did stuff you can't do if you'e stuff in the 9 to 5 rut.

Why didn't it last for me? I was very naive about the HYIP world & only diversified into two programs. They both crashed at about the same time & I had to scramble to get back into the work-force. If I had appraoched things a bit more intelligently....I might still be retired today.

You are not crazy. Life is meant for living not working. I think overwork, in part, has led me to needing to go part-time at work myself. The doctors examining my case are trying to figure it if they are going to diagnose me with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and they are sending me to a cardiologist to ruly out Pulmonary Hypertension.

I have a good idea about how you feel going to work every day. I've mentally been feeling that way for quite some time & now it has become physical for me.

Go for it! I have an internet friend who got fed up with the rat race, sold his house, moved to Mexico---& has been living off of HYIPs for the last 4-5 years! Relocating might not be your option, but if your wife can provide a substantial income while you work with generating HYIP cash-flow, I'd say you are in a blessed position!

Just my 2 cents Good luck with everything!

Cool, thx for the feedback Taion. That's more encouraging than I expected.
Hehe, yes I hear the cost of living in Mexico is sweet! Big family with lots of local ties and interests would prohibit me from relocation into the foreseeable future.

Just as a matter of fate (thank God!), when I entered the HYIP world, this forum was essentially my initial gateway. I shutter to think of my results by now if I'de entered via, say, talkgold instead, lol. Seems I've read everything from all over the net now and there still are tons of info out there worth getting in to.
Right now at least, this forum is the place to start with, latch on to veterans' inputs, as all you will experience over the next year, the vets have already just been through....know what I mean?

Yeah, I hear what you're saying, Scott. I've been in TalkGold recently and....have not found it very helpful. I think I like it in this forum---seems more down to earth & intelligent than most of the others I've wandered into.

I don't have huge ties to the area I live in, so I might be able to relocate in the future. I have a brother in law who lives the good life in Panama and says he will never come back to the States. He pays about a dollar or so for a taxi-ride from one end of the city to the other, pays about $3 for a huge dinner at night...then pays another dollar to be chauffered back home. Sounds ready-made for an HYIP lifestyle, eh?

I certainly think it is possible Scott. You are very fortunate that you have a wife who has a job you can fall back on if needed. If you are careful to diversify, I think it can be done. Also, if you have a significant sum of cash, I would look at managed forex accounts. I know alot of the well known ones in the HYIP arena seem to be underperforming, but I am sure that with enough research, you could fine a strong choice for your money. Good Luck!

If you decide to go with managed forex account I suggest to be extreamly careful. Many of them are scammers who just makes referral money to be an Introducing Brokers. You can choose two way to go with MA's: Gambling or Investing. If you like to invest with MA's, not gambling, ask access to live account reports, min $25K account and absolutely minimum 9 months (12 months is better, 18 months if you are investing serious money). Gambling, well if they cannot show live account reports for minimum of 9 months, it's nothing more than gambling and you should be ready to lose the money. Remeber that majourity of managers loses money. They aren't any way more superior than any other trader. Of course there's some very good traders out there who can make 50% annual and offer managed servises. However those guys are hard to find and most times $100K ain't enough. I've been dealing with many FX managers, and I can assure: With hyips it's 5 times easier to make money.

I think it all depends on what lifestyle you feel need to support on the investment returns. Living in a hight cost european country makes it difficult to support comfortable lifestyle, but relocating to a low-cost country makes it all more possible. It doesn't take more than $1000-2000 monthly to support a very comfortable lifestyle in Thailand.

Having a job whilst doing HYIPs might be the best route here. At least you could fall back with your job if the HYIs go down. As how it seems, high yielding programs come with high risks, and you always hear the golden rule here, always spend what you can afford to lose.

If you hit the buttons right and do alot of research on your own, chances are that you'll do pretty alright in this gruesome arena :P

And lastly, I'd wish you good luck here.

Default Yes you can

Hello Scott

gold777 has it right. It depends on the level of income you require. I live in Thailand too, and can live very comfortably on $2k a month.

It took me quite a long time - nearly a year - to be able to investigate and then make reasonable decisions on the HYIPs that I am willing to invest in. I still throw $100 punts at programs that may pay or may fold - just for the hell of it, you know - you still gotta have fun doing this stuff! But my larger amounts are in the more sedate programs.

My average returns (inc Profit/Loss) from everything work out at around 16% per month. So you should be able to work out from that how much you should be willing to throw away for the returns that you need yourself.
NOTE: I gave myself $1000 playmoney for the first 6 months, this being what I was willing to lose to learn the game. I lost over $600 the first month. Then I had a rush of blood to the head, and threw $5000 at a program that disappeared less than a week later.
DO NOT put large amounts of money into ANYthing until you are absolutely sure of what you are doing.
I have recovered all my losses, including the $5k, and am now in overall profit from my total spends.
The game goes on.....
Good Luck!
