I once chose an HYIP based on intuition, and it did well for me for a while. I was about 300% in profit when it went down. I have not been able to repeat that. So.. it was sheer dumb luck.
I tried logic too. Until I realised that the information available on any given HYIP is probably 95% false. So thats a bit of a furphy as well. Therefore my choice in the poll was option 3.

Hello fxnick
Nice to see you active on the forum once again, hope that everything is fine for you in your part of the world.. I have followed kyteflyer..... Logic works - sometimes. Intuition works - sometimes. Knowledge (DD) AND Intuition can be quite a potent combination, provided that you are told the truth in the first place... which, so often, just isn't the case. How do I choose a hyip? .... erm... Isn't that a pretty web page! Not really true, either, but it can be an influence.

I don’t decide at all today. I’ve given up on everything except AP and OSC with no aspirations of taking anything else on for the time being. Maybe next year when things have shaken down or the whole industry has gone.
I used to use logic in reverse as it were. I didn’t look for good sites but for bad ones. Working on the principle that whatever is left isn’t bad therefore it has to be leaning towards good. Sadly even that doesn’t work these days and it has all become an out and out gamble as even the so called not bad sites are just as liable to run off.

Nice and interesting poll.
I'd have to go with the zebras. For me, both goes together. |

I try to do my research. Find out everything i can about a program. While i am doing the research, if my gut (or gut feeling) is not right, then i dont join. There is a joy inside me and all the DD looks good, i place more money in the program. Acting on one or the other is out of the question for me. I cant fully trust all the informaotin (and opinions) and i cant always say I can properly understand (or know) all my feelings and intuitions. When both work together though, it very often works out for the best.

I gaze into a crystal ball. But everything has to be right: the moon must be full, Jupiter must square with Uranus...you get the idea.
Levity aside, it's a mixture of both logic and intuition for me. It does not always work, but its very unpredictability at least keeps me from getting bored.
