Hi all,

Just an update, I'm still working on the Database, I'm trying to get all the data as accurate as possible for our next move... That is, I've ordered a new script that has protection from sql injection as well as a few other security tricks and all the data from the existing script will be transfered to the new one when it's ready. I've been told it will be in about a week from now. So what this means is that we don't have to lose our online presence. There's no reason why we should opperate in hiding from any hackers... There are ways to prevent them from accessing our site so I have elected to keep the site up.

I really do appreciate all the support that you have shown through all this, even to the point of having no site to monitor your funds, From my point of view that's quite a sacrifice that you are prepared to make.

Even tho' it's just a website, it is a point of contact... and "I" would be nearvous to trust someone with my money only being able to contact him through an e-mail. You have shown a lot of faith in me and I stand humbled. Thank you all.

The new site is a little different in your members area, but once you've browsed around a little you'll quickly get used to it. We are using the same template so the front end will still look the same.

From a security point of view, the database is the most important part that we need to secure and the new script, as I said has security features to prevent any sql injections.

For the next couple of days (maybe up to a week) the site might be up and down while we work on the database. The only reason for that is I want to make sure that the data that we transfer to the new script is as clean as it can be. so please bear with me a bit longer.

Once again, I appreciate your willingness (and many offers of help both in cash and kind) to opperate offline but I think you deserve to at least have a place to go to to see your investment grow. And Gaby... thanks again from all of us for your kind offer to build us a whole new site, I know what a big job that could be.

So folks... we're not going to shrink back, we're going to fight back. And we are going to grow as we planned.

I'll keep you all informed here about the progress.

As far as the trading is concerned, I am in the market and we press on regardless, things are a little slower than usual, but that can be expected for this time of the year, so it's a good time to make any changes that we need to. In the new year once all this is over I want to concentrate more on the trading side and I am planning on making a Forex trading course which I'll also put online for anyone who wants to learn to trade. (there will be a fee for that).

So we move forward, we get better and stronger and don't allow the whims of a heartless hacker to determine the direction we take. In a years time we'll all be a little wealthier and he'll still be broke.

i will have more egold soon..but due tothe hacker changing my email and i can't remember my password..can you pm me a new password so i can log in and change my email addy etc?

y'know the funny thing is when my only other hyip (forex-u) started having problems i began to panic,, and got burned,,,,,but with cfx : no worries whatsoever no panic and no doubts in increasing my deposit in jan. ,,,,2007 will be a big $$$ year for us all

Your plans sound really good Peter. I have been waiting now for a while to have some funds to put in here, so anxiously await the stabilisation of the site. I'd be very interested in learning to trade, too.

I deleted my egold info and changed my email to a nonsense address. Should I send something to you with the correct information now or wait until the site is up and accessible to members again and change it myself then?

Thanks so much for the update and all the hard work you've been putting into this, I'm sure it's appreciated by everyone here. I was personally ok with beeing offline as well, but at this point I agree that if you can make the database secure against SQL Injections, and other hacks (hope you got the few links I sent you) it would be nice to be able to login. Either way, whatever is going to make it easier on you so you don't have to spend your entire time dealing with the geeky stuff and just focus on your trading. I'm very interested in learning on how to trade by the way, can't wait to see your trading course in 2007!

maybe you should try contacting support through the Club FX site. that's how I got my password problem fixed.
