Whilst waiting for Peter's guidance, I've been doing some reading at Babypips and have found (whilst looking for a Mac based trading station - there arent any, really) that you can have a free java based game, which doesnt expire, at Oanda .. just look for the FXGame links. I have no idea if Oanda is any good, but they have lots of info there, and if the rest of you are anything like me, any info is good info because I know absolutely NOTHING about forex. Even with the reading I've done, my head is spinning.

Eureka......! Finally able to access site for the first time since this whole mess started.

Even though it is only a web page, it does provide a sense of security to be able to actually see one's account.

We should be in for a wild ride in 2007. The dollar's decline may present some interesting challenges to the successful trader.

Odd, I seem to be seeing my entire account just as it was prior to the mess. Not just a web page...

Any clues? I can't think that its a cache issue, shouldn't the login fetch a new page rather than the old one from the cache... and in any case, I have been able to adjust my account details and restore them to the correct values (I changed them to nonsense after the sql injection happened, just in case)

I don't have anything invested here yet... am I seeing something I shouldnt or am I missing something entirely.

Also, PeterB, can you confirm the egold number which is to be spent to. I don't want to be sending $$ to the wrong place.

Thanks in advance, anybody.

Default Trading on Forex

Hi Everyone, I just got back from Texas with in laws. They live in a dry county. I think that covers that situation.

I noticed a post in response to a post I believe by PeterG about thnking of starting to trade in the Forex. I just started on Nov 30.

Since then I have learned alot. I made a statement to many people I know after the first week that trading on the Forex is like looking into a mirror at yourself and your inner strengths and weaknesses. And it wasn't pretty for me. I then started to develop some relatiionships with people who trade on the Forex. Mentors are a necessity.

One person who looks at these post, and I believe know who I am talking about has been great help. Another mentor suggested a book to read the I HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to trade anything stock, Forex, bonds, commodities, etc. It is not a book on trading styles. It is more of a trading psychology book of why we do what we do and why we subconsciously become losers in trading. And we do it without thinking or making an effort to do it, just like to we do not have to try or think about our heart beating.

That said, the top traders, and Peter B is one of those, have certain characteristics and ways of thinking that are contrary to every thing we think we must do to be a consistent winning trader. This keeps them consistent winners and the rest consistent losers

The book has changed my way of thinking about trading and additionally, it has changed my way of thinking of my life.

The book is called "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas.

And in closing, I must say earning 20% a month like Peter has done for so long says alot for his abilities as a Forex Trading. Will I still trade on the Forex. Yes. Will I stop investing in Club Fx. No. In fact, Forex trading on my own, only makes Club Fx look better every day

Why do I say this. Well the most logical answer is diversify. The other answer is I am earning more with him than myself.

It is clear to me that you are on the road to the camp of successful traders. Keep on doing what you are doing. Trading as you have so accurately discovered is about more than executing orders.
