Question The Best Firewall

I am chosing a firewall for my computer, that's why I want to ask you for advice. Which do you think is the best and secure FireWall? I heard that Comodo is a good choice, but I not sure.. I am looking for your thoughts.

I use Zone Alarm Suite, which is a firewall combined with anti virus and anti spyware functions. It also protects my computer from identity theft attempts. The anti nasty data is updated daily or whenever there is anything to update even if it means two or three times in a day.

Further details available from http://www.zonealarm.com/store/appl...log_view_id=201

It has served me well for a number of years.

The best firewall is the one that suits you and your preferences. I heard good things about Zone Alarm, Kaspersky, Norton. They probably all are good enough, but you have to choose that one that suits you and your computer more.

Agreed, those softwares offer a great protection but they are vary in prizes and licenses, you should choose the most suitable one for your need.

Zone alarm is the best firewall for me, it's protecting my PC from outsiders and block unwanted connection from my local network and internet.

Hi All,

I am using zone alarm and Sygate Personal Firewall (SPF) for me.

And both working fine for me.

SPF also working fine if you have low rang system and having also limited RAM and space.

Thanks
Sunny

Hello fxforecaster,
Whether you are new to the HYIP world or have a wealth of experience behind you, a very warm welcome to you from admin, moderators and our happy band of forum members. We are here to help each other.

You might like to refresh your memory of the forum rules at http://goldentalk.com/t7526.html and you can post your comments about them at http://goldentalk.com/t25587.html

If you are an out and out newbie to computers and the Internet these could be useful to you.
http://goldentalk.com/t20852.html
http://goldentalk.com/t20851.html

If you have some time to spare maybe you would consider having a read of the following threads.
http://goldentalk.com/t563.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2510.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2270.html for info on making a signature.
http://goldentalk.com/t2413.html
http://goldentalk.com/t2504.html

You should find them useful.

Finally a couple of tips on DD.
Go to http://www.goldpoll.com/ or .net or .org. As far as the IE browser is concerned go to the menu Edit and select ‘Find (on This Page) and in the Find what: field type in the name of the programme that you are researching. Just the name will do and not the URL. If GoldPoll is monitoring the site you will be taken to it quickly. Other browser may do things differently so you may have to search for the ‘Find’ facility.

Back in the forum do a search for the programme. Once again just its name should be enough. If there is a thread or threads for that programme you will be shown a list of them.

Good Luck!

Jim

Comodo gets some of the best independent test results as far as I know for firewalls and on top being free is obviously a nice plus!
you can see this challenge here on firewalls http://www.matousec.com/projects/fi...nge/results.php for instance.. good luck
