Smile Google's new Chrome web browser

A new Google's Web browser Chrome has been released a few weeks ago. I didn't try it yet and wondering if it's worth? I am interested in the advantages and disadvantages of using this browser. I've heard that if you type something in the link bar, the browser automatically shows corresponding searching results. In other words, it will search the information and displays it like Google. It seems to be interesting to me, but I don't know if it's fast enough and is there are some errors appearing? Please let me know your thoughts about it. Thanks!

I downloaded the Beta version of Chrome the same day it had been released, but I was not pleased with it. It slowed down my computer and there was some problem with Youtube videos - they didn't work. Now, I don't use it at all. I think there is still a lot of work to be done, before it can compete with FireFox or Opera.

It`s something I`ve been thinking about downloading, but I usually prefer to take a `wait and see` stance.

I agree on your statement, it's too new and fresh so as to make any conclusions.

Same opinion here

let it circulate for a bit .. and then take a second look..

(i usually get this software immediately, as it affects my work, but if you are not into web development you should wait for a few months..)

Nevertheless, all comments i have heard from around me are very good.
It lack some popular plugins/add-ons for now though..

Yeah, but google has a lot of power so I think that Chrome will cut his slice of the cake. Will see

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

I haven't tried that browser either, not only because it is new and I have heard that it still has several bugs that need to be fixed by Google first, but also because the browser which I am currently using, i.e. Mozilla Firefox can cover all my needs while browsing without the slightest problem.. Apart that, Firefox has a vast availability of add ons and other things to personalize and expand your browser in any way you may want.. I have at least 20 such add ons currently installed to my firefox browser, including several ad blockers, the snap links add on which allows me to do a bunch of things drawing a square over an area, another add on that reloads each tab just by double clicking on it etc... Google Chrome on the other hand doesn't offer all these, so even if their bugs were solved and it had no problem at all, I would still have been using Mozilla Firefox..

I've read that there are privacy issues about google chrome, but its been months then so maybe it was already solved, is it? I think google chrome is the first that launch a website that has private browsing option, you can use it if you don't want to get caught watching something not nice. hehe.
