Default Firefox launches a new "privacy" browser...

Mizilla recently introduced its latest trial version of their Firefox browser with a privacy mode. Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 can be downloaded and used to surf the web without their activity being recorded on their computers due to the Private Browsing Mode. Users can also take advantage of additional features such as deleting the history of their last few hours of web browsing as well as removing all traces of a particular website.

Yes, mozilla now adds this feature in response to competitive pressure from other browser makers, which were adding similar features to their software. It is the same feature added by Google Inc. in Chrome browser with its "Incognito" mode.

Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer 8 will also include a private-browsing feature, called "InPrivate."

I think is a good measure. For example if i want to surf in a internetcafe or at school at my informatics class and i don't want anybody to see what i've done (not even accidentaly) i can use this option. But i think that deleting the cookies manually could have the same results just that you need to know where to find them. Right ?

That's a good addition. I am satisfied with Firefox and this one can make it so much better.

Sounds great, I am tired of all those scams and mischievous people who are trying to steal your identity in any way possible and for any reason possible..

Let's just hope that this new edition will be working faster and with less problems than the FF 3.0 editions..

Well, it will be very good, specially to them who use internet from their work place or cyber cafe. It will help us to become safe from the scammers. Again, google proved that they are the mother of new ideas and finally Mozilla followed them. I will download a new version of Mozilla today.

It is still on beta version though, which means that there may still be a few issues that need to be fixed.. I would rather wait for the official version first..

Official version doesn't mean that the software is bug free, take a Windows as an example...

Well, at least it is perhaps more updated and "complete" than a Beta version anyway..
