has admitted that its web site was breached by hackers for almost eleven

How can an anti-virus companies can be hacked?
What is the profit of the hacker to do that?

Any company can be hacked, that was proven numerous times so far. Including US Army... And there might not be any financial profit behind such event, I mean if I could hack CNN, I wouldn't look for financial gain, I'd just like to erase damn propaganda machine once and for all...

As far as I know, US server of Kaspersky-Lab was hacked. Hackers used "SQL injection" method for it.

Interesting that it was not for the first time when their servers became hacked.

Its unbelievable that a Antivirus site was hacked .I think the reputation of the site would have gone down and many people wont prefer Kaspersky now .But a site hacked for 11 days is unbelievable

wow see the irony , company of antivirus providing safety to users got hacked themselves. wow thats the most hilarious news i have heard. Cops getting robbed themselves so how will they save people from robbers. haha

I don't think the hacker will gain anything by hacking kaspersky. I think what the hacker wanted was recognition by hacking a security providing site. In my opinion this was done because only to gain recognition. Nothing else.

well. if those hackers hacked kaspersky that means they can connect to millions of users computers and change or add anything they want to on the kaspersky software. that's really dangerous .
