Default How to know whether an exchanger is a scam or not

Hi all .
From my experience there is a simple way to know about a online exchanger.
1. Look whether the exchanger is verified or accredited by any of the currency he is exchaning.
2. Secondly you can check whether he is exchanging too many currencies or not. They exchanger who swaps every e currency is most probably a scam.
3. Always do a research before exchaning.
Happy exchanging.

It's easy!
First,I would do a search about it on google, everything negative would be discovered.
And also get some suggestions from those people you know who have used it.
Plus, there are not many exchanger,so choose the one that has got best reputation~

well first thing is you should ask him to send you money , if only he sends then you too send.
also look for only trusted exchangers who are always online on net and keep talking to you in friendly manner. also add them to your yahoo for some days and then decide if you like the person and feel trustworthy then only you can very well exchange with such people.

i think you should ask the exchanger first to pay you then you say i will pay you.and you should also ask him to proof his point by someone`s proof.

Google is not the only way to research if an exchanger currently is or if it could turn into a scam soon.. I would mostly prefer to find people already using that exchanger and who would be able to give an updated and prompt response to my questions, having been using it for some time themselves.. That is why I would mostly trust people that I meet on forums, like golden talk.. Over here for example, if there is a problem with an exchanger, someone would have spotted it and reported it, thus notifying the others about it as well..

If you don't want to be scammed, I suggest you to use the reputed exchangers having good reviews that you find in forums like goldentalk. Why do you want to search for new exchangers then? It's always risky to use new and strange exchangers.

It's hard to search it out on google when the exchanger site is new though because no has ever written a review yet.. and also, we are not so sure if the reviews being given is also true because they can pay some persons to create a good comment about them if they want.

Yes, and other than that, the information that you could potentially get on Google could have been outdated... I mean that the time that the respective content would have been added to a website could be significantly older thus many things may have changed in the meantime.. And of course, there is the "who" factor, i.e. who wrote the review about the payment processor and what his or her motives could have been for writing such a review, either positive or not, just as staraple mentioned. So, I would go for a full research instead that would include Google search of course, but also talking with other people whom I could have met on forums and similar websites using that payment processor and being willing to give me updated information regarding my query..
