Linux vs Windows Operating System
Which Operating system(Linux or Windows) you prefer when internet security comes in your mind.

I prefer Linux when it come to internet security but only 1 out of 1000 people use Linux OS on their PC in my country.

users are using windows as it is user friendly and many of them are not known to linux operating system . But linux operating system is what i will prefer when it comes to internet security as .exe is not allowed to access in linux operating system.

Linux is much safer, but less popular. Windows is so popular , and it is very friendly already..

Linux has now become open source, some versions of it are redhat, ubuntu. you can get them for free while you need to pay for microsoft windows.
also as earleir someone said, linux is highly secure though not user friendly like windows, it is much more preferable in companies where security is most important. |

That`s absolutely true. But there are some specific software that run only on windows and are meant for professionals. Such software are really very expensive to create and also quite time consuming. So, waiting for an open source version of such software or applications to be developed is like waiting to see if one day we will land on an alien planet...

In terms of Internet Security is concerned, I prefer to use Linux OS. Most of the malwares around the globe was created or made purposely for Windows applications.
There is a humor that those malwares such as viruses, trojans, worms, spywares, time-bombwares were made by a group of CRACKER, FISHER etc. and sold it to the company that makes an anti-virus. Others said that the Anti-virus maker itself are the one resposible of those malwares running worldwide. They let us be infected by thier created malwares and then later on they will introduce to us their NEW and ADVANCE Anti-virus in the market..!!! sounds CRAZY right ?! but that is just a humor..we have no solid evidence to prove that they were doing those crappy thing.. So if you are too concerned with internet security, better to start studying OpenSource softwares and used Linux as your Operating System. But it is not the only concern of the user... A user now will now determine his/her priority, SECURITY OR COMFORTABILITY!? If comfortability is chosen, then used Windows OS! Otherwise, used Linux OS! |

Yup! Linux is the best in regards to Internet Security...but tihis is not applicable to all the users..most of the users prefer to use windows because of its user-friendly features they've got...
If you are well-oriented and much knowleadgeable in using Linux, then go ahead! Linux Rule! |
