Great..I think they are extending things until end of Dec. It will have many members even after then and it is good we are in this early. It means all upgraded members who buy and sell keywords will be able to grab the really juicy keywords.
I am making a huge list now getting ready for the big buy lol.

It doesn't require $25 as a must, during registration to the site. Rather it requires one to purchase credit of $25, in order to get ref.link since it's under pre-launch, and that's if you wish. But every member that joined now, will have ref.link by January 1st 2011. Hope you can join now, and we can see what happens till then.

No you don't have to invest any money to join. That is purely optional. As a free member you will be able to eanr form every action on the social site. Like visiting others, uploading pics and all sorts. As an upgraded member you cna own keyword stock and get into the keyword side aswell. That is purely optional. Also as an upgraded member you get a ref link at the moment. I don't know after launch if free members will also have a ref link. We will find out soon enough so you cna join now for free and remain a free member. Just as an upgraded one you can own keywords and earn from those as well.

Tag Trading Platform and Site Launch Updates
We thought it would be a good time to update everyone on the status of the tag trading platform and the launch of the site. Our developers gave us a report today so we felt it would be best to pass the info along to our members.

The accounting bug has been completely sourced and defined. This means our developers now understand what is wrong, why it is wrong, and how to fix it. It is now just a matter of time. This is a very labor intensive bug to fix. It is hard coded throughout our entire software platform and requires programmers to manually work through thousands of lines of code to re-write the corrected software.

tagvillage is essentially 2 accounting programs in one. On one hand, we reward points to our members for every single action on the site. Uploading a photo earns you certain points, while posting on your wall, chatting with a friend, visiting a group, and trading tags earn you various other points. On the other hand, members buy and sell tags among one another and earn commissions from referrals and advertisers.

So, every thing that happens on the site affects one or the other accounting systems, or both. It is extremely complex software. The problem we discovered during final testing was that the accouting system for points and the accounting system for tag trading were conflicting when transactions involved all three levels of recording: referral action, tag trade action, and site point action. Basically, when a referral bought or sold a tag, it took points and credits away from the referrer rather than giving them to the referrer. This is critically destructive. Therefore, it has to be fixed before we can launch.

Even though this is an incredible mountain of code to correct, we are being told by our lead developer that he expects the team to complete the project at or very near the 1st of January. Our programming staff has been split into 4 focus groups:

1. Search Engine
2. Facebook Integration
3. Design and Member Interface
4. Code Rewrite

We are being told all 4 teams are moving forward at above satisfactory levels. The current projection is that all 4 teams will complete their tasks within days of each other. This should occur right at or near the first day of January. Get ready! When this launches it is going to be HUGE.

But why wait until the first week of January for it to be huge? We think you shouldn’t have to wait that long. So, our incredibly creative team has been dreaming up something really cool. Without divulging anything we aren’t allowed to, we just want to say that all of you with active referral links are about to get a really cool tool to explode your referral base!
