Hello derfla! Glad you could join us. From Malta eh! I remember Malta from my royal navy days in the fifties and sixties.

I’ve never heard of Blue Gold. However just because you read on monitoring sites that a site is paying it doesn’t automatically mean that they are. According to HYIP Monitor at http://www.hyipmonitor.com/ Blue Gold is blacklisted. On http://www.goldpoll.com/ it is not listed at all. Those are the only two monitoring sites that I use. Even on those you need to pay attention to the email addresses of the raters. If the same person is posting every day then it could be false information to try and make it look like the site is paying to lull prospective members into a false sense of security and investing. I hope that your loss was minimal.

Whether you are an experienced HYIP investor or new to the HYIP world a very warm welcome to you from our happy band of forum members.

I’m jambutty (the ancient one) and over there sleeping in the corner is akuma99. Sssh! Don’t wake him he’s on night shift. Betsybee has joined us and will give a much needed female slant on things. jeFF is around here somewhere and if you see a shark swimming around don’t panic, it’s only the boss. He doesn’t bite! In the Indonesian section we have NDA corp to keep an eye on things. All that lot out there are the members and without them there would not be a forum.

Please read the rules at http://goldentalk.com/t7526.html

We look forward to you being an active member of this forum and reading what you have to say. We hope that the information and advice that you find on here will be useful to you.

Same opinion. This arena is a shark tank. It is difficult to pick out the trustworthy ones if there are any. But we all know about the risk involved so it is also a little bit on us if we are being scammed or if we will make some profit. When I am interested in a program I always try to gather as much information as I can from different resources in order to get to know some facts if the program is paying or if there were any negative events in the past but that doesn't prevent me 100% of being scammed at all.

Just today, a few hours ago, I read in the newspaper that a very respectable, well-regulated brokerage firm is under investigation for hiding bad debts (maybe it's just one person in the company that is under investigation).

Till a few weeks ago it was regarded as one of the most profitable companies, there was even talk about a internationally recognized Exchange going to be handled over to it to manage.

Positive events in the past doesn't guarantee there will be no negative events in the future. Just as good character (on paper) does not guarantee good behaviour in fact, especially when bad behaviour can be concealed.

It's really quite hard to predict scam sites. The best bet is to use your own instinct.

And there's absolutely no way to tell ahead of time. Oh boy what wouldn't I give for a bit of precognition!

What about when the sites original data doesn't check out , would you call it a scam then?
